About Cydney
Hey, I’m Cydney Marsh!
Cyd, to those who know me well.
I’m a multidisciplinary creative known for my work as a UX Design Lead, illustrative artist, and design educator. I have 10+ years of experience across product design, research, and creative direction. I’m based in the Tampa area in the ever vibrant Lakeland, Florida, though I travel frequently the the rocky top mountains of Tennessee, and originally hail from the colorful desert of Tucson, Arizona all of which I derive inspiration from.
Tools I use
Public Speaking and Workshops
Before design, I spent five years teaching in after-school programs and youth camps. That experience shaped how I lead today: teaching teams, clarifying complexity, and helping people build confidence through practical design thinking.
I’ve spoken for universities, events, and professional associations. If you’re looking for a speaker who can keep it actionable and engaging, I’d love to help.
Topics I speak on:
Practical UX research you can run quickly
Design systems and cross-team adoption
Accessibility and usability fundamentals
Stakeholder alignment and design storytelling
Career growth for designers

Hobbies and Passions
Outside of 9–5, I’m usually creating in the world of music, film, and entertainment. I love giving back creatively to the places I call home. After spending my entire youth in Nashville, Tennessee I find myself still drawn to side projects in music city. My illustrative work is also frequently shown in SPACE Art Collective’s galleries and events here in Swan City. I love planning events, volunteering, traveling, going to concerts, studying theme-park and roadside attraction history, and cooking ambitious recipes in my modest kitchen.
